drop away timing question

My new bow will be here tomorrow with a qad timed and set up but I will be changing the draw length from 28.5 to 27.5 does the rest need re timing?

Yes. It will need to be retimed.

You will have to re-time the rest because the cable will be moving a different distance so the rest will be moving a different distance.

Watch the dvd/video for the correct setup procedure. If you do not get the dvd then go to QADs website and it is there for your enjoyment. Cheers!

No doubt it will have to be changed. Since you are lengthening your draw length I would not personally draw the bow without first loosening the timing string on the rest. The extra pressure could cause problems with your cables, the QAD, or both.
