Carter has the highest quality releases. If you don't feel your current release trigger move and not go off, you may not need to move up yet.

Carter LikeMike is the best I have ever used. I won't be looking for another for a long time.

I went from a regular index triger style release to a tru ball max 4 thumb release and I will never shoot a index finger release again. I attach it to my d loop and let it hang. I feel that I am much more consistant with this release. It took me no time to get used to it. Altough it did change my anchor point but I feel better than ever with it.

I'm with BearStrike here, I'm on a Tru-Ball thumb and you couldn't give me a finger release.

I can't let mine hang as I also put a V-Lock strap on it after the first day mistake.

I too use a Tru Ball thumb, but not with the strap. Never again on the finger style, but just my style and opinion. Nothing wrong with index finger releases and Scott.

I went from a Little bitty goose to a Carter simple one last year. No comparison IMO and I'm loving the thumb style release for hunting.

I use a tru fire hardcore. Awesome release. Swivel head in front of the release trigger, head also adjusts to reduce shooter torque, very tight groups.

Stick with your Scott. They are the best.
