Where they cross just above th cable slide, how close should hey be to each other, mine are about a 16th

Different bows have different cable crossings. As long as they don't touch you should be good to how. My Hoys has a little more than that but not a lot. Did you recently take the cables off the slide? You can always revers them and see if that helps. You WILL know if you got it wrong! You can also take the slide off and turn it around as well. -
