    Form Feedback

    All

My Daughter is grouping good at 20 but I think she can do better. I have told her to relax her left hand, anchor with her knuckle in the same place on her ear, and slowly squeeze for a suprise release. Can some greenscreeners watch the video and give me feedback on form so I can help her to shoot better?

Head erect and place the string on the tip of her nose. Looks like the string is about 1/2" past the tip of her nose. By doing this, it gives her another anchor point for reference. Might want to have her lower her release hand just a bit.

      JMO..............

Everything looks pretty good BUT, get her draw length shortened a bit so that the TIP of her nose is split by the string at full draw.

That's all I got from that video.

Thanks for the feedback. I will continue working with her. She was floating her anchor behind her ear. I told her to stick her knuckle on her lower ear in the same place every time, then had her draw this way eyes closed then open her eyes and look through the peep. I adjusted her peep until she drew anchored opened eyes and the peep was correct. She has gotten the stance and followthrough down, will work on setting upo for her to use nose as anchor.

She is leaning back a little, DL is a little too long. Shorten DL and shorten the release a little also. Put the trigger of the release firmly in the first joint of her trigger finger, not out at the very end if possible.

Dl is as short as it will go on that bow, she leaned back a way more last year. Its hard to see in the vid but her left arm has a good amount of bend. Ill try shortning the release. The peep is huge, may try and get her a little smaller peep so it is easier to center the site.
