Arrow For Elk

Would a Carbon Express Maxima 350 w/ 100 gr Rage be good for an elk? Draw length is 29' and weight is 70lbs. I think arrow length is approx 27 15/16".

That arrow is plenty... My only recommendation would be a fixed blade broadhead or a tougher mechanical like the grim reapers.. Im not saying the rage wont work the others just give you better odds if you hit any bone.

The arrow is fine but I would use a fixed blade 125 grain broad head.

Those arrows will work. I like something a little heavier 450-500 grain area, less wind drift on the longer shots.

Sounds great but if your set on a mechanical I wouldn't go over 1.5in cut.Some buddies of mine have had good success on elk with the Rage 40ke.If I'm shooting an elk I'm gonna shoot my Steelforce Phatheads!

Arrow will do fine, but would go with a 125 gr. fixed blade.
