    Johnson Tree Stands?

Anybody have one? I am probably going to be getting one after seeing them at TTHA. They look pretty sweet and should give you an awesome ranch of motion to shoot.

Kinda hard to make that assumtion without sitting in it. It could be bar stock. Just sayin.

looks like something I could use for hanging in these crazy crooked mesquite trees. I want several.

$320 seams a bit steep for a tree stand. I would think for that price you would at least get a top of the line seat but that seat does looks cheap and uncomfortable but maybe it's not. They better hope China doesn't copy them because if they do you will be able to buy it for around $100.00. I see they also sell the base for $170 so you can move your stand to a different tree. Good Idea but way over priced in my opinion.

Sat in one at Hunter's Extravaganza. Neat design, but I would never sit in a tree stand with that long of a lever arm that uses ratchet straps to anchor to the tree.

The bottom ones are knock off game tamers. I have 2 originals. This Johnsons has one more axis of leveling than the game tamer or the knock off chinese version. Dont mistake what Im saying. They are fine. Especially for the price.

I don't own any, so I was curious about the difference. Are the SwiveLimbs good?

The old old ones popped alot. And didnt have a platform! But that back in the late 80's n early 90's. Ive heard that these ones are awesome. Enough so ive had to control myself from buying one.

I'll take your advice and avoid researching them any further. Don't think my wallet is prepared for one, I don't want to have to fill my feeder with gravel...
