I tried the ultra rest and never could get mine timed, sent pics to QAD, talked to tecs but never could fix the contact issue. It ended up the rest was bouncing back up and arrow hitting it. Solved my problem when I went with the QAD HD that locks down when shot. Not a problem any more and it's even quiter when shot.

And by looking at the bow it is only 1/32 of an inch off time so I don't think that small of a factor should cause this.Comment

Your cord is not far enough down, and in combination with your bow being out of time, yes, it would cause that. Simple enough to fix, be patient with it and it will be fine in the long run.Comment

your cord needs to come down at least 1/2" but 3/4" or maybe a little more will get you right.Comment
