    Range Finders???

I am going to need a good range finder this year. What is the GS recommendations. Looking to spend $150-250, I figure someone makes a quality rangefinder in that price range.

No, but IMO its a marketing tool. I have the Nikon 550, and a buddy has one with ARC. We used our climbers to practice one day, and we got the same readings. His just told him the angles.

My archers choice shows different readings with angle comp on and off. Its more noticeable at steeper angles, but the difference can be enough to throw your shot off a couple inches

Spent a lot of time comparing range finders in the 2 - 300 dollar range.
Nikon seems to be the fastest and most consistent.

As far as angles, look at the charts and decide if it is really worth the difference in price. I don't think so.
