Original strings...how often should they be replaced?

IMO those zebra strings should have been replaced when you got the bow.

Shops say once a year, I think it depends on condition and the way you take care of it, wax, store indoors out of heat, amount of shooting you do etc. But a 2007 you should get it looked at by a Pro Shop

I replace mine every 3 years, given I have taken good care of them. Or I get bored and want a color change.

at least yearly if you shoot alot. Just me opinion and safeguard.

Shop will say every year. depends on how you care for it and how much you shoot. if they are 5 years old they need to be replaced.
