Fixed blade broadhead sharpener?

What do y'all use to sharpen fixed blade broadheads?

Smiths Broadhead Sharpener. Up to .035-.040 blades.

Depends how bad they are....

If they're nicked up, I'll use a file on them first.

Then the Smith's sharpener.





Then finish up with a leather strop that's been rubbed in jeweler's rouge.

Will the Smith's get them that sharp that you can finish on a leather strop and will it work on replaceable blades along with fixed 2 or 3 blades heads like the HellRazor and such.

If they're not too bad and just need a quick sharpening, yes. I've done it with Slick Tricks and Bloodrunners only.

I forgot to include in my other post that after the Smith's, sometimes I'll pass them on a diamond stone prior to the leather strop.

Even without using the diamond stone, the strop will get the rolled edge removed.

I own that one too. Along with an Alaskan Archery Supply, a G5 and god knows how many others. The Smiths costs about 6 bucks and works better than all of em.

I may have to check it out. The 3-rivers gets 'em plenty sharp though.

knives of alaska has a small diamond stone that is amazing.. they sell for $9, it takes two swipes to resharpen a slick trick that you pass thru a pig and stick 6" in the ground. best kept secret thats no longer a secret. get you some
