    First time fletching blazers.

Figured I'd try fletching some blazers up on some GT shafts I had. I've used blazers before just never fletched em myself. So what ya think? Click image for larger version

Did you put any helical on them? What jig did you use?

Looks good to me! There's not a whole lot to it but a little time. Just may have to experiment with different types of glue. I use Goat Tuff myself and have had good luck.

They look good! I just started fletching my own arrows myself.

I have been using the Arizona EZ-Fletch Mini. What jig did you use?

I use a bohning jig, and yea it's just about as hard as sitting around and tinkering around with stuff trying to find out what works best out of my setup. They're done with as hard of a right helical I can have while keeping the vane still in good contact with the shaft. Not sure about degree or anything. I just build a few then try em out, make adjustments and build a couple more, then try them out. When I finally find the best setup, I just redo em all the same. Not hard at all and it's actually pretty fun to do.

just make sure not to use plain old rubbing alcohol.

bohning blazer jig works wonders cheap plastic jig but puts a nice 3 degree tru helical on them. the vane holder does get gummed up though even with the protective film on. i still love it though cant beat the price
