I'd wait for the 2013 one in a few months if I were you because it's going to be sweet and it's going to most likely be the same price you'd pay new for the 2012 one right now.

Are you even sure the 2013 is going to be a Carbon Element? It could be an entirely new model. Do you have any info you could share about the 2013?

Talking to my bow guy, any info is supposedly super top secret. But he did say a Hoyt rep told him to expect something huge.

I just really like the all black 2012. My buddy has one and it is so sweet. Makes my old Hoyt Trykon seem obsolete... ha!

That's what I had before my Element! NIGHT & DAY buddy!!! It's amazing the technology they put in these new bows. I can't believe I used to shoot anything different. I'm anxious to see what the new line from Hoyt looks like but there'll definitely be a Carbon bow if not the Element.

I was in the same boat when I saw the 2012 with the RKT cams but I asked my dealer and he said he wouldn't advise changing the cams. For 5-7fps it wasn't worth it to me and I didnt want to take a chance on my bow not being able to tune with the new cams. I haven't shot the RKT cams though so I can't say how much they differ from the Fuel cams. Either way, I love my bow!

Well Im just really wanting to find a LH 2012 Carbon Element that I can buy right now and use this season.

This is what, the 3rd or 4th year of the carbon bows? So they should have all the kinks worked out and it should be pretty well dialed in. If the 2013 is another Carbon Element, then great. But if it is an all new model, I would rather have a 3rd year carbon Element opposed to a 1st year new model.

So, anyone got a lead on where to buy one?

I can't tell you too much but from what ive heard and seen, Hoyt and bear (yes I said bear!) are both releasing some SWEET bows this year. I can't wait for the new line up. Should be interesting so see if Mathews can stay caught up with the big boys this year!

Just bought one last week from CCR. They had to order it because I needed a lighter draw weight. I'm new to archery. This is my first bow so I'm no expert and don't have anything to compare to. All I can tell you is my 2012 is a real shooter and I'm just learning. Look forward to shooting some 3-D as I learn.

Well you picked a good one to start out with!!! If you get a chance, shoot a bow that's a few yrs old then shoot the Element. It's unreal the difference. You can really tell when you shoot them side by side.

We have a couple LH at our shop in Weatherford at Bargain Hunters. You can call to verify DL and lbs. Would have to ship to you unless you want to take a road trip.
