Starting with the fixed first. The less moving parts right now the better. Once I start hunting with it, I'll be using Muzzy or Grizz Trick bh's.

I shoot with an old Pearson Renagade II thats about 20 years old still shoots good but man the difference was like night and day. They got them for like $369 with the RAC package. Going to buy one for me and i think the DS for my wife. Lower weight so she can ad weight as needed.
$369? I think he meant $639 His local shop should be Triple Edge and I know they aint $369

              Agreed...

I'd buy everyone they had in stock at that price. Then sell them on eBay for $550 and make a killing. That number is below dealer cost

I love mine. Got mine last sept. I shot 16 diff bows over a period of six month, and finally decided I had to give up my Mathews drenalin and buy me one. Took me 25 min staring at the camo and black ops side by side to finally decide to get the black ops. It'll take a lot to get my assassin out of my hands. Good luck and be sure to let us see your new ride!!

Either will work great .I would go with the muzzy a lot cheaper and nothing you shoot can tell the difference .lol.gander in spring had a six pack of 4 blade for $29. Seriously get a rip cord or had if you are new at this . And look up walk back tuning once you've gotten your form mastered and become fairly accurate. Start with a lighter draw weight and work up .btw supper light and faster arrows are harder to tune with broadheads .six grains per #of pull is a good middle point. Have fun

Buddy Shoots the Assassin and loves it. I was going with this bow, but found a amazing deal on a Mathews Reezen $500 (fully rigged with QAD. 16 Arrows, Release, and broadheads..... Couldn't pass it up... but if i hadn't found it i would have been the owner of the ASSASSIN.... Great Bow.

i use the vforce 40 60 380 but i just changed to a easton 400g 3.9 gpi changed the fletchings and i think they shoot better out of the bow. they were on sale at academy for $20 a half dozen. i dont know much about all this but i go with what was easier tuning for me. i use a 100g rage 3 blade does great work.

For those who have this bow what arrow rest do you prefer i have the stock hostage it comes with thinking on upgrading to a drop away...

If you want a drop-away, get a QAD.
If you want a good failproof hunting rest, get a Whisker Biscuit.
