thinking of building a new blind

i have a great spot if the wind is perfect, where i always see the biggest bucks. there is another spot that would work great but i will be on a tank ****. i was thinking of digging into it partially, and making a semi pit blind. the tank does not hold water anymore, and when we do get serious rain, its on the opposite side from the overflow. so basically what i am saying, is be digging into it 5 feet wont effect the tank.

my plan is to basically make a box, and putting it into the wall. leaving just the front, roof and a partial side walls. im planning on making it around 5 feet deep, so digging it into the wall around 4 feet in.

what are your thoughts?

If you are digging you will need to stay above the water line or you will have a mud pit. It will be cold in the winter and full of skeeters in the summer. If it don't work out you can always fill it in. Good luck
