I used to shoot from the dining room, through the kitchen, and into the garage at my last house. Could get 20 yards.

In that same rent house The front door and back door lined up... I could stand on the sidewalk in the front yard and shoot through to the house to the back gate... 45 yards.

That was before kids while the room mates were gone... Only in Texas are there Rednecks as bad as us!

I shoot in my appartment when kids are not home. Just 10 yards, but enough to work on form and muscle memory. My range time has been cut down significantly so this helps to maintain sanity and release frustration.

Just saw a target just for that purpose. It was 4*4 real nice. Didn't catch who may it but sounds like what you might be looking for.

I shoot in my garage too, and after my "mishap" two weeks ago, the local police reminded my wife that it's against city ordinances to shoot within city limits.

Unless you're lucky enough to be able to shoot outside openly, it's a great way to keep your "shootin' muscles" in shape and work on form. You still need to hit a longer range regularly though.

It's not legal in McKinney, unless your property is more than 10 acres. I've checked.

Yeah that was my hand two weeks ago. It happened in my garage, and the police asked my wife to remind me that it's against city ordinances.

If anything, I was grateful that I was home, because my wife was right there to help me when it happened. I have access to an outdoor range, but it's a good 20 or 30 minute drive. Plus there's no way my wife would drive out there with me every night, to sit in the Texas summer heat, while I practice shooting.

                        My indoor range:
It goes a little over 10 yards from kids restroom with one foot in the toilet, through the hallway, through the laundry room, and out to the garage. Can't wait to move into a bigger house!!!

Thats when you breakout the popup blind, no one will know you are shooting.

Your arrow will go right through a sheetrock wall, so don't shoot toward a wall that has anything on the other side of it that you wouldn't want to put an arrow through (like your family).

A metal garage door won't slow down an arrow much either, especially at point blank range. I found that out the hard way when I unwisely let a friend draw my bow when he was not familiar with my release. Makes a rather loud noise, too
