I was thinking I could remove the slide and polish the grooves. I see that cables aren't normally served like this. Could I just remove the serving and put the polished slide back on?

Kyles strings are great. His process of how he makes his strings puts hin ahead of most of the manufactures.

I have known Kyle since he was at Gander Mountain in Sherman. IMO there is no better tech on the planet than Kyle. I dont question anything he says and I know when he hands me my bow it will be tuned to perfection. I havent had him build me any strings yet but undoubtedly they will be top notch.

My opinion...you get what you pay for. I've done business with CCR for a while and I'm very happy with their customer service, knowledge and craftsmanship. So spending $200 on bowstrings from them is well worth it. Again, just my opinion.

I decided to go with some green & black speckled twisted with plain black from Kyle. I'm looking forward to getting it back and will post some pics then.

I just wanted to say thanks to Kyle at CCR for the job he did on my string/cable set for my GT500. This bow groups very well now (I've stopped shooting groups ). Here's a few pictures of his work and how it shoots at 20yds:

If Kyle works on your Bow , do not try and shoot groups you will break arrows. When your bow leaves CCR Kyle has more than likely shot it several times to insure you are getting the Best tuned bow you can possibly have...just my 2 cents, These guys are pros.

This is my first post here and I just got my bow back this afternoon from CCR and Kyle did a great job on my strings and cables. I got them in the colors I wanted and they even served and set my peep plus tied on a new loop for me. I feel that the customer service was top notch and it took less than 2 weeks from when I dropped it off and well worth the $130 plus it makes me feel good to put the money back into a local shop, seems like there are less and less of them these days.

X2 I just ordered a set today and picked the colors I wanted. It cost me 78.00 plus tax and shipping. Came to a total of 84.36 to get to my door. Thats not bad for a custom made string with your personal color selection using top quality materials.
Edit: By buddy ordered a set last year and they still look brand new so I knew what I was getting when I placed my order.
