Hoyts rtk&cam 1/2 and QAD rest

Friendly reminder and helps if you read the instructions! i was getting redicilous contact on my new blazers and even with my feather arrows. i installed my new qad hdx rest and never thought that was the issue being 400fps tested and i was only at 318fps. i figured it was a timing issue. nope for hoyts you must change the launcher to the LT1 thats included in the kit.
QUOTE from QAD SITE: Cam & 1/2- Hoyt

    - Swap out the Standard launcher with the TL1 launcher*. The TL1 is a spare launcher that comes with all Ultra-Rests. The TL1 is a 1/8 inch higher in the valley, which provides additional drop away clearance

well needless to say my arrows are flying stright and alot more consistant

I shot my new arrows prob 100 times yesterday moving my sight and never could get a group and watching my arrows kick left and right comming out of the bow..flipped the cocked fletching and that's when I noticed it hitting. So then i got out the instructions and found this info! Now I'm stoked I used feathers because I never could get blazers to fly consistent as my feathers. Well now I'm just if not better with the blazers

Is that just with the new RKT cams? I've had a QAD on three hoyts now and never had fletching clearance problems with the Fuel or XTR cams.

We don't ever change them out always work on the timing on the rest. We make sure the white line on the rest is straight across from each other. No timing issues.
