    Goldtip arrows?

Where do they rank these days in the market?

    Value?

I cannot shoot the difference in .006 to .001 straightness but I am wondering if there is a better value out there than my XT Hunters

(shooting TAC in OK and thinking I am possibly going to need more arrows after shooting that far, up and down hills with rocks involved )

Blackout x3 hunters from bass pro are the same arrows re-labeled for bass pro (90% sure). I think they are a little cheaper when bought per dozen vs the goldtip arrows

I use the standard .246 diameter Gold Tips and switch between straightness depending on what I'm doing. I'll shoot hogs with Hunter and XT Hunter and then switch to Pro Hunters for 3-D and deer season. They all shoot the same but the Pros are more consistent. If you shop around, you can get the Pros for about 125/dozen and I've gotten the Hunters as low as $40/dozen.

Opinions are well.... opinions. I'm just not a fan of GT, and it "feels" overall they have been slipping, no facts, just a feeling from watching. If I was looking for affordable, I'd look at the Vendetta arrows from schools. They are Victory VTACs and re-labeled for Scheels. The Pros are 003 and 55/6, which is 110 dozen fletched, which is pretty hard to beat for that quality and price. The non pros are 006 and 45 for 6. Overall the pros are my goto when people ask for an affordable arrow that isn't junk.

I've been using Gold Tips for 20 years and I still like them.

Not a gold tip related comment but you should take altra in consideration if you look at new arrows . I shoot the 001 altra centrum premier .204 . They also have the novum 204 for 75$ half dz they are .006 . I can’t shoot the difference either . I’ve got shot them probably well over 1000 times and so far had 1 that had a slight bent oilutsert. Once replaced it shot fine. I’m impressed with tg so far . Just got another dozen . Im shooting tac in SA and my group picked the two hardest courses lol I’m a little nervous about blowing up all my arrows

I've had great luck with XT but haven't bought a mew batch in a while. A tiny bit of imperfections on cuts but most likely due to my cheap harbor freight saw.

I bought some cheap victory arrows on a recommendation here but haven't set them up. Most of the bad reviews seem to be fletching coming loose which is not a deal breaker.

Wanted to update my response as I finally got my GT Velocity Pros that have been on backorder for awhile and they are the most accurate arrow I've shot in a long time. I have to shoot individual dots at 20 yards because they are grouping so tight. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

Was a good arrow for a long time. In my personal opinion… not even in the top 3 anymore. There are, IMHO, better options at similar or lower prices.
