    Which arrow should I shoot?

Ok, after doing some tweaking and making some arrow adjustments and draw weight increase I have two arrows that fly great and are both within the 5 grain per pound rule. One is slightly heavier and slower, the other is a bit lighter and a bit faster. However, out to 30 yards they hit almost exactly the same. Out to 40 and 50 the heavier drops a bit more.

The GT Camo XT Hunter 5575 are 369 grains flying about 307 fps about 77KE.

The GT Black XT Hunter 5575 are 346 grain flying about 313 fps about 75KE.

Which one would you use and why? Or does it even matter?

    Thanks!

They are so close I would pick which color I liked better.

I think if I were hunting the Cape Buffalo in your Avatar I would go with the heavier arrow(JK). What are your bow specs, DL, DW, Mfg. to get those speeds. Honestly if your shooting 3D I think I would go with the most accurate first wheather it is the light or the not so light. I shoot the GT Pro Hunter and the Expitidions (black) and really do like them. The are accurate and tough as nails.

Shoot the heavier arrow. I thought you had all of your issues solved with that new bow/arrows or are you just tinkering now trying to fine tune ?

The heavier arrow makes your bow quieter at the shot. And 6fps loss is negligible in a hunting environment. Both have enough speed to deploy any mechanical BH if put in the right location, and niether will work worth a flip on a bad shot.

Just tinkering now. All is great. Arrows fly awesome. I have half a dozen of each arrow and am still trying to decide which one I like most. Then I'll buy another dozen. They both perform very consistantly.

Bowtech Insanity, 27"draw, 26" arrow, 68/69# depending on which scale it's on.

id shoot the heavier. my bow is shooting a little faster and i had a problem with the 5575flexion. i went to the 7595 and it shoots way more cosistant, quiet, and only a few fps slower.
