    G5 Montec Question

Anyone use this? What's your results on game? These seem to fly great from my bow.

ive used them for the last 8 years..was the first and last broadhead i bought. durable, fly great, easy to sharpen. Very close friend of mine "owner of (the bowshop) in Gulfport, MS" took a trip to Africa with them and killed a Kudu, Neland, Gimsbok, 3 russian boars, a cape buffalo, a duyker, and a couple of Impala's..wealthy does not describe this man as you can probably tell from his game list. Anyway these were his broadhead of choice and he gave them a 10 out of 10. That was all the proof I needed. Ive used them since and had great luck. A long winded way basicly to say I love them!!

love them. ive learned to coup with murphys law as time has gone on. thats why i dont use mechanical. i also wont reuse a broadhead for deer so i dont like the interchaneable blade bhs.

I killed a hog last year with the G5 Montec . Flies like a field point.

I have the ca ones, and I have gotten my moneys worth out of them. I still have two from the original pack I bought three years ago. If you use them you will not be disappointed.

Fly great. Penetrate great. Solid. But the blood trails were not even close to an ST blood trail or a Grizz Trick.

Never lost an animal using the CS 100 grains. I like the solid one piece of steel COC blades

this was the first time i ever used a g5. i could stand where the arrow was a see the trail of blood on both sides of the path all the way til where he pilled up in 40 yards. there are all sorts of BHs out there. i like the ones that fly true.

I agree. I only shot hogs (7 or 8)with them and the blood trails we're not anywhere as good as tricks.

I've shot 2 deer with these and the blood trail wasn't great. But I still use them because they fly so well.

I have never heard of them. Who makes them? Does st stand for slick trick.

I love the broad head over all. However like stated above the blood trail seems to be weak. I shoot them when in ground blinds and shooting through mesh they work great. Also penetrate deep on hogs almost always get a pass through even on some of the big ones 225+
