    Hang on tree stand

In the market for a new hang on tree stand. Really not wanting to spend as much as a lone wolf, but want something better than the big game series. I’m almost 6’4 so a large platform is definitely preferred. Used a smaller platform before and my knees start feeling it after a while being sub 90 degree bend lol. All recommendations welcomed! TIA

    Millenium M100
The M100 Ultralite Hang-On Stand is the stand that started it all, offering a perfect balance of size, comfort, and durability. Weighing just 14.5 lbs and made from strong 6061-T6 aluminum, it features a spacious 20” x 38” platform for secure positioning and a full ComfortMAX seat that offers lasting comfort without retaining water. Ideal for both bow and gun hunters, the M100 ensures comfort and readiness for every season.

I prefer Lonewolf/Novix/XOP style stands simply for the batwing style bracket that allows me to setup on crooked trees.

Then again, it depends what type of hunting you're doing. Milleniums are comfortable, but they don't have the batwing bracket.

I run a LWCG .5 with a mesh seat and footrests. XOP has the Evolution for right at $200 currently, and they just released the Ion this year which for $50 more gets you a mesh seat. I wouldn't bother with the Cold World or the Retrograde because the seat post is only 18 inches.

I had to upgrade to the 22inch seat post, otherwise my lone wolf killed my legs and I'm only 6ft tall.

I have 2 of these. They have a very large platform and the seat is very comfortable. I really like the bracket hanging system they have as well. Just climb up and attach the bracket to the tree, Pull up the stand and slide it onto the bracket, and then final secure with another strap once it is in position.

Before I went to a saddle I found a used lone wolf…. They are just worth it. So much more versatile than any other brand of mobile loc on. I think I paid less than $125 used and it’s just like a new one

Those Lone Wolf stands are great. Especially the versatility
