    long lasting game cameras

What cameras are yall using to get photos for more than a few weeks? Maybe I need to find a solar cameras as my batteries run out after a couple weeks.

I am on year 3 with ten of the $29 tasco cams from Walmart. Batteries last at least 6 months. They are the most reliable camera that I’ve ever had. I wish they made a cellular version.

I will be selling my Browning cameras soon. These were all used for one season and in excellent condition. Going cell cameras only because it is a big property and I get tired of spending the day swapping cards. With blue Energizer Li batteries, they will last all season, 50,000+ pics at least. Crazy battery life. Love these cameras and have been using them for years. Takes great pics too.

Let me know if you want some of these. I'll make you a deal. Think I have 20 or so. The trick is to spend little extra up front and use lithium ion.

              Long lasting…hmmm…

I tried 3 of those Walmart tasco’s and two were duds right out of the package ! I had one that lasted a year but it fogged up with every rain and high humidity days- in the garbage! I do think that these may have been good before COVID but not now. I purchased two Moultries in the $125 range last year and they were both just as bad as the tasco’s maybe even worse. I’ve got a browning I purchased last year and it was no good after 3 days but I sent it back in and it has been flawless.

I run the Wiseye cameras, with a 14 ah 12 volt in a shell box last a long time and the pictures are fantastic. Camera is about 75 feet from the Feeder and still captures day and night.

Reconyx Cameras are the best. Currently running 7 for 5+ years

Last full season on once charged Amazon rechargeable batteries

Very very few false pictures taken. Nothing worse than a bunch of blank pictures taken. I hate going through a camera with a 1000+ pics

Don't be afraid to buy used as they have $35 complete upgrade and repair program

tactacam + winghome off amazon that's a solar panel with internal battery. I'm running 4 of these combos and never have an issue unless a critter pulls the cord out or chews through it

updating to add that each camera probably sends me 50+ photos a day. i think it comes out to around $90 per year per camera and you get unlimited photos. i recently opted for their $9 per month add on so i can request 15 second 1080p video clips when i see a interesting photo.

Moultrie Edge - 3 months with 2 bars, 1 upload per day
Moultrie Edge Pro is supposed to be even better as you can adjust similar to a security camera and void out certain areas of viewing area so motion doesnt trigger. Tree limbs, grass, etc.
