I used something similar called a Hindsight. It was basically a cross hair that mounted in the same way. It seemed like it was to much to think about and look at.
Just my opinion. I know a few guys using it and they love it.

A peep sight will be more reliable and accurate if you have a round housing on your sight. Easier to align housing inside peep and that will center the pins. JMHO.

i used to shoot a no-peep. it works great, but its just a quick fix to cover up bad form and inconsistent grip
