Recommendations on a bow poundage scale/pull that is reliable?

I don't trust any of the handheld ones. They all look like cheap luggage scales from amazon... I've heard second hand of them breaking occasionally. I use a 300# rated crane type scale. I use it in a draw board, but you could also hang it somewhere and just pull down on the riser. Those types of scales are designed to carry heavy loads etc. You can get them on amazon for $30-40. I have a 300 at home for bows, and 600 in truck for pigs

Get a cheap one on Amazon, just keep an arrow knocked and pointed at a suitable backstop.Comment

I have one of the digital handhelds from Last Chance, it matches what a traditional scale shows. I think they usually run around $100 but Midway had them on for $59+shipping a while back so I pulled the trigger when I found it at that price.Comment
