Blackout SV-32 @ Cabelas/Basspro?

After not drawing a bow back since 2010, I'm finally getting the itch to hunt again. When I saw the sticker prices on today's upper end bows, I about stroked out! There is no way I'm dropping $2k on a new bare bow, not gonna happen.

I reached out to an old hunting buddy, Archery1st, (Bruce) because he was the most technical of all my old bow hunting buds, and asked him to point me to a solid sub $1k bow. He suggested I try shooting a Blackout SV-32 offered at Cabelas/Basspro for $699 after he flung a few arrows out of one. This model is made by Elite, has Winners Choice strings and cables, weighs 4lb. Looks like I'll be headed to cowtown tomorrow to look at one. Kind of excited!

Anyone have any input on Blackout bows?

Here is an option, just up the road from Cabelas is Cinnamon Creek, check out a Hoyt Torrex or the Elite Basin and Terrain. All sub $1k bows. And it gets setup by a bow tech, not a shoe salesman.
