    Beware of a frayed d - loop

I was just drawing my bow with an arrow nocked and the string released just before dull draw. My d loop has been partially frayed for a while now and the release did not have enough string to grab onto. If you have a partially frayed d loop or string get a new one ASAP! My accident left me with a badly bruised forearm and a scratched chin. It could have been worse!

I had the rope on my Scott Itty bitty goose break while drawing my bow at the archery store range. As I released it flew backwards behind me 20 feet, lucky I did not punch myself in the face.

Get OSBORN'S FIRECRACKER string loops they dont stretch. I use one and i have drawn alot of arrows with it and it still in good shape it will out last your string

Yep I had one that was able to pull through the jaws of my release and gave myself a pretty good pop in the mouth. Fortunaltely no one else was there to see it.

            Welcome to the club.

The knurled thumb bar on my release drew blood on my chin. If you think you can squeeze in 1 more shot before you need to change it.......stop! And change it

one of the reasons it took me years to adopt one.

lost an arrow with a nice broadhead in the neighborhood because of a frayed/busted loop, no neighbors have tripped over it yet
