Looks like rage has a little competition.

    They always have.
2.5 inches of linier cut. Tough as nails.

No hater here, I choot rages, reapers, tricks, stingers and whatever else that flys straight. I think this is gonna be one I will be trying out, especially if the blades are as sharp as the thunderheads!!

I've been chootin the 2 blade rage for years and have never had a failure but have grown tired of the worry and care required. I've shot 5 deer in two years with minium blood trails on great shots. One deer went 100 yards, one 75 and three less than 30. The two blade design just doesn't seem to get the blood flowing. Tons on internal bleeding once opened up. I like the cut pattern of the three blade but experienced a partial failure and believe it to be a poor design.

I recently started shootin the Ramcat and can't be happier. It truly shoots spot on with my field points although I've only confirmed this to 40 yards and leaves a nasty hole and blood trail.

I have read some great reviews on this broadhead! Will be on my "to shoot" list.

Smoke Ramcats are devastating. Fly second to none. I have two original prototypes left. I dont mind passin one out to someone and the other too someone else. But bare in mind they are the originals that Brett (Owner of Smoke) sent me a couple years back. The new ones are alot cleaner as far as the final craftsmanship. But there aint nothin wrong with the original prototypes.

Those deep lobes in the tip are for 2 reasons. One they channel air out and away from the blades as per wind tunnel tests. Second they have the same effect on tissue helping penetration. I never shot a critter with em. But Mudslinger has nailed several. He Raves about em. And I pretty much shut up n listen when he's talkin broadheads...

Quick tip on the "tip". You can take a flat diamond stone and lightly run it across it and sharpen or resharpen it as well...
