    Sight Help Please!!

I just traded for a sword single pin sight and I was wondering what steps that I must take to properly sight it in? The gentleman I bought it from hasn't answered his phone so I could ask him. Any help would be great before I start losing arrows for no reason. Thanks guys.

start off very close to your target and go from there.

Set your left and right when very close. Then back up to 6 yards and shoot it in. That will be close to 40 yards. Move it so the pin goes down from there as you back up to 10 yards. Shoot it in there and then back up to 20. It should be very close and just need some fine tuning from there.

I read somewhere that if the rest height is good, set your pin to the same height as the top hole on the sight bracket as a starting point and it should be close at 20 yards.
