This is what I live by Double Distance Practice!!I practice out to 100yds regularly and shoot 90% of my animals hunting between 18 and 22yds.My goal is to not be able to shoot the same spot while practicing 20 to 30yds. without busting arrows and I have achieved this by practicing past these distances most of the time.Pushing your limits is the only way to get better at anything you do!

Everyone's expectations are different, but when I was shooting a compound, the bow put the arrow in the exact same spot every time. The "x" factor was me. I had good days and bad days.

On a good day, I could shoot 3 arrows in a golfball size group at 20 yds. A baseball at 30 yds.

If the bow doesn't meet your standards and you're confident you're doing your part.....it could be the bow(or arrows).

Another thing you can do is mark your arrows so you can tell them apart. sometimes you will get one arrow that just doesn't fly like the rest.

What cajuntec said is absolutely true. If you are forcing your fingers away, your are torquing our bow. Hold your bow hand down to your side and just let it hang there with your hand in a natural relaxed position. Have someone place the bow in your bow hand without to much movement to your hand and in a comfortable position. This is how your bowhand should be around the grip of the bow. Comfortable and relaxed and in the same position time and time again.
