I have several different pair for different situations. I use LaCrosse, Rocky, Danner and Irish Setter. If I had to pick one boot to wear every day, early season or late, muddy or dry, cold or warm I would go to the LaCrosse's every time. Their comfy, warm.

      Danner, hands down
if you don't mind wet feet. They are not going to keep your feet dry if you walk in wet grass or in water above sole deep. I love my Danners, but not in a hunting boot, they fall far short compared to other options available. Dry feet are happy feet.

To do what you want is not going to come cheap. You are asking a lot from a boot.

I have a pair of Cabela’s "Canada" by Meindl in 200 grain and they are great boots (around $300) if you are going to tote a load (backpack) but it will take more boots for single digits temps.

Socks are the key to keeping your feet dry, which is the key to keeping them warm. Merino wool socks and a good liner is what you need. It is hard for me to spend $20 for a pair of socks plus the liners but if you want to keep your feet in good shape it is the way to go.

There is an anti persperant called "Certain Dry" that is almost prescription stength. Shower the night before, put the Certain Dry on your feet before bed. Works amazing! This stuff last like 4 days. Even after showers.

Also, I realize this is probably considered wool... but I found some socks years ago made from Alpalca fur. Best I have ever used.

Now if someone can just tell me how to stay cool in a pop up blind when it's 88 degrees outside!
Certain Dry.... Why didnt I think of that??? I hate sweaty feet, that then get cold!!! I use the UA baseball sock for wicking and the gander wool socks but sometimes my feet still feel wet... then Freeze!!!

        Im gonna try it!

I love my new Irish Setters.... well new to me Thanks Cory!!!!

WAY better than the Scent blockers I was wearing before!
