I had a QAD rest failure here recently that caused me a little grief while hunting. I have had this rest on my S2 for three years now and have used it A LOT shooting 3D, practicing at home and hunting so I am not really surprised since I have used it so much. About three weeks ago I hunted in wet weather and got my bow pretty wet. I did dry it off when I got back to the house and thought no more about it. Last week I got to go back to the lease again and I had a single little boar hog come up. After about 20 min. of him facing my direction eating the corn he finally turned and gave me a broadside shot at 18 yds. I drew shot and hit him far forward in the jowl area. I thought maybe I pulled my shot or something like that but when I got the chance I shot my bow at home and could not even hit the target at 20 yds. I checked my bow to see if there was anything wrong with limbs, cam, wheel, etc. but found nothing. I suspicioned the rest after a few more shots and notice fletch contact with the felt on the rest. I bought another one yesterday and got it all set up this afternoon. Things are back to normal now. Just try to keep those mechanical part dry when your out in the country. I will call QAD about a replacement on recommendation from the guys from Gander Mtn. They told me they may warranty it even though it got wet.
