I've considered the same bow for next year at around 50#. Seems like it'd be a sweet setup.

    Anyone have the Revenge?

Just be careful with your shoulder issues. The Omen has a big draw hump that feels about like drawing 20 pounds over the weight. You might want to look into that before you buy.

I shot one, and then I ordered one, it should come in this week ( I hope) so I'll let ya know what it chrono's out at, I'll be shooting at 70# with a 29" draw.

Are you sure of these speeds? I shoot a lighter arrow out of a faster bow with a longer draw length and more draw weight and am barely getting those fps.

My bow for hunting last year was an Omen set at 55lbs using a 375 grain arrow with a 30 inch draw. The bow was just over 300 fps. Yes, the 30inch draw was too long for me but it worked to kill a couple of deer.

I'm not going to call you a liar but my friend is shooting an Evo 30" 70# with 353 grain arrows and only hitting 329, so those speeds are hard to believe.

I had the 2011 80lb limbs. it was an incredible bow, super fast. 410gr arrow @ 344 fps, 106 fp of kinetic energy. Due to design issues, and stored energy, the bow self destructed on shot 1052. The draw was horrid at best, but hands down the fastest/coolest bow I've ever had. That being said, the 2012 cams have been re-designed on the 70lb bows, not sure if they are even shipping out the 80lb limbs anymore, wouldnt have them if they did. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BEGGING MY WIFE TO LET ME ORDER THE 2012 WITH 70LB LIMBS. I'm prepared to whine and snivell if begging doesn't work

The re-design on the cams, makes the omen much more controlable, drawable and doesn't have near the hump to get over. feels more like the evo, just longer consistant pull of the total draw weight. once you get into the very short valley, it's very pleasant. one word of caution....do not lose concentration and let up back tension. it will pull your shoulder out..violently

X1000 I shot the omen on 70 lbs and thought my shoulder was going to dislocate and I shoot 80 lbs comfortably. Terrible draw and let off IMO

I shot a 65lb Monster MR5. I could handle the draw force curve fine on it. Surely a 55lb Omen cant be any worse?

It is very hard to believe. My buddy had one and it's set up exactly the way that I shoot and when he told me I thought the exact same thing. But I had to buy one when I seen him shoot it I live mine and it's a screamer I recommend people get it.
