Lumenok v. Nockturnal

I started a thread a few days ago, and most who posted seem to overwhelmingly say Nockturnal. I have noticed just in battery life, however, that the Lumenok, according to the website, has a 40 hr battery life compared to 20 with the Nockturnal. What has been yall's experience with durability differences and battery life? Sorry for not using the original thread.

I cant speak for the Lumenok's but I have had several of the Nockturnals for a couple years and have shot them quite a bit and have not had one "die" yet.

I have been very pleased with the Nockturnals with zero failures.

my fiance nockturnal stayed lit for almost a week!
It broke while in a deer as it hit a tree so we couldnt turn it off. Glowed bright for 4 days. Came back two days later, and was still lit, but dim.

I switched to nockturnals because I have had shots where my lumenock failed to illuminate which can be rather irritating, so to me how long it stays lit is not as important as lighting up. (Nockturnals haven't failed me yet)

I've tried the Nockturnals, Luminocks and Firenocks....

Luminocks and Firenocks both failed during practice.

Nockternals haven't failed me during practice or hunting situations.

I lost a Nockrurnal in my target...a week later I finally got it out. It was broken but still shining. It laid on the table for a couple more days before it died

Nockturnals work way better. I wouldn't worry about the battery life. The things are never on for more than a few minutes anyways....a few hours maybe at most.

Nocturnal without a doubt...regardless of battery life...failure to light at all is what deters me from substandard lighted nocks.

Durability is no contest--nockturnals win because they work.
Battery life--well the battery in the broken down car may last longer than the one in the vehicle you trust daily, but I sure wouldn't pick a car based on the battery...

I use and have no complaints with nocturnals. I haven't tried any others, and I don't feel the need to.

I shot a spike opening morning with a nocturnal nock and the top portion of the arrow broke off. The next Sat morning while walking to my stand before daylight, I found it, still lit. 1 week later and still going strong

I shot an axis this weekend, nokturnal zipped through him but then turned off, maybe the impact? then i shot two coons, one had the nokturnal stay on, the other stayed on for an hour before i went and picked it up and turned it off

One of my new ones is acting kinda flakey. Turns on at impact then goes dim back to bright to out.
