Another thumbs up. My dad had the RIA Compact/Officer Size GI model. The shop (alvin, tx) he bought it from told him he needed to get a colt mainspring and guide rod put in it for some reason, so he took it in about a year after he bought it (mind you, no problems with the pistol) and had it done. Got it back, wouldnt fire more than one shot at a time without manually cycling the action. Went back to the shop and it was closed down.
He called RIA, they said send it in. They called him about a week later and said that guy really messed it up and it was beyond repair. Instead of fixing it they send him a NIB RIA tactical model in the compact size and he gave it to me. Ive been shooting the heck out of this thing. Skeletonized rounded hammer, skel. trigger, weaver style sights, etc.Comment
