    need a tripod

narrowed it down to the woodsey II quadpod (14' eye level) and the chas mac bow stand with 10' legs (13' eye level). the chas man is almost $100 extra, but it has a half rail that runs behind you to help conceal movement. what do yall think?

I have a couple of the quad pods( from back when they were Gametamers) and I love 'em. The fact that they are adjustable from 6 -14 ft is what sold me. I don't have to look for the perfect tree set-up. The stand adjusts to the tree

I plan to get a couple of the Woodsey quadpods. I plan to make a rail out of PVC that will hold camo panels in place.

wait are they adjustable from 6-14' or do you only have two choices- 6 or 14'? i was under the assumption that the legs came in two parts. without the bottom part on, the chair was at 6'. with the rest of the legs on, the seat was raised to 14'.

looks like the legs on the bottom fit INTO the top half and uses a T-bolt to tighten and loosen allowing the legs to be lengthened or shortened without taking them apart...looks pretty cool....
