thinkin of gettin a new string in a couple weeks...got a hunt this weekend and next so def not then. Q= how long will it be before it starts to strectch? i have a press and dont have a problem with twisting the string and all so another Q= when i twist a new string what all will that change? do i have to twist the buss cables also?

The new strings on the market today usually don't stretch much and are usually more than broken in with 150 shots.
Twisting the string doesn't have much impact on the bow. It will minimally effect drawlength.
However, as little as a half a twist on the buss cable can have an impact on specs, timing, draw weight of the bow.
The last set of stings i ordered from twisted archer on at came with a card that said that the strings were twisted to exact speck and adding or removing twisted is not needed -
watch your ata and brace height and that will tell you when the creep is setting in. all bows are different as well as strings so just keep measuring and you'll know.Comment
