    Maxxis 31 Grip

I used the search feature but couldn't find what I needed....I have had a Maxxis 31 for 2 weeks now. The bow is awesome and has been tuned and sighted. HOWEVER, I CONSTANTLY hit to the left. I'm not a real fan of the Maxxis side plates. I think I'm torquing the bow right when I shoot. Anyone else have problems with the maxxis grip? Any suggestions?

I actually prefer the side plates to the wood or rubber grips. Does it do it with the grip off?

I haven't tried it with taking the plates off. Good idea, because if it is the grip I'm going back to buy my old one off the bow I traded in. Thanks for the idea. I'll check that tomorrow.

It took me a bit to get used to the side plates coming from the wood 180 that was on my Katera.

Hope it works out for ya

I've got a Maxxis 35 hanging in the closet waiting to get set up. I have a Vectrix and I'm almost scared to commit to switching. Love my Vectrix!

One of my main concerns (other than the 35") is that grip. I have the side plates on my Vectrix and the rubber grip on the Maxxis.

I guess I'll see next week. Just got my new Spot Hogg sight in and will set it up soon.

I took my side plates off and it corrected the problem. Moved my shots back to bullseye. I was center punching the x yesterday. I might get some athletic tape (tennis racket or hocky) and wrap the grip.
