    Tracer nock probs

Looked around but didnt really see a answer to this. I bought some cheap tracer nocks from academy just really to try out and maybe put on my hog arrows. BUT I cant keep them in the dang arrow, keep flying out when shot. They are the kind that using a little copper ring that connects the terminals when shot so dont think i could glue them in, maybe just a small dot to hold them. But they feel like they go in with the same tension as the regular nock and that one will stay in and not fly out. I dont remember the brand but thinking they were maybe Allen? Before start saying their cheap for a reason, i know that lol Maybe i answered it myself with just a small dot to hold during shot and then break free on contact. Any other ideas??

Mine fit real tight. I think they should be tight.

they are probably the wrong size for your arrows. they should not come out at all.

try wrapping a little bit of thread tape around them before you stick them into the arrow, depending on how they fit this could snug them up just enough to keep them from flying out

ya i know they should be tight i mic'd them and they are same size as the nock that i pulled out of the arrow, which came out fairly easy but stays in when shot. I thought they should be tight as well, i'll try the thread tap tonight and see what happens

This I what I use too but I had one that popped out when it hit the target and using a little bit of thread tape solved that right up
