Anyone rigged their cuddyback to run off recharable batteries?

I'm thinking about modifying my cuddybacks to run off a rechargable external battery. I have seen where you can make a cylinder of wood the size of two batteries and put on electrodes and drill a hole in the case and hook it up to some 6volt rechargables like you find at academy. Anyone tried this?

Pics if you have them or know of a link where I can find out how. I'm tired of paying for batteries and my two primos cams are on external batteries and I have never had a problem.

Never thought about using a wooden cylinder. I found that an ammo can work well. Waterproof and mice can't chew through it. I mount the solar panel on the can.

I have some of those wildgame 6 volt rechargeable batteries from Academy. How long does that 6 volt battery last you? In accordance to number of pictures or number of weeks?

I plan on doing this but don't want to over amp my camera. I had intended to put two of those 6 volt batteries in parrallel like the wilgame innovations external battery packs. Just wondering if this won't over amp the cameras.
