Had one on my old drenalin when I bought it.. Switched to a reg peep a week later.. Its easier to use at low light conditions but I wasn't very accurate with it..

I used one for a few years and they are great for low light and pig hunting at night. I no longer use a peep.

I used mine when I really started hog huntin at night..it was great! with a peep light i used to make a lot of low light shots.

With my Z7 I switched back to a round peep and my accuracy improved drastically. Unless you plan on hunting at night a lot I would not recommend the splitter. Even the mini is hard to really shoot cinsistently with. It leaves to much room for error

I use my pins, as long as I anchor the same it's no problem. I've been bow hunting for over 20 years and when I took my string splitter off I shot just as good at close ranges. I don't shoot as good over 40 yards but I basically never shoot over that distance any more so it doesn't matter. As you know I do a lot of hog hunting at night and since I've got rid of my peep, I shoot better at night because I can see the whole picture and nothing is blocked out by a peep, if you have ever tried to shoot a black pig in a group of black hogs at night, you know what I mean. If I was to go on a hunt out west were I though I would be shooting longer ranges, I would go with a peep but don't see a need for it for shots under 30 yards. I would not suggest going without a peep for people that have not been shooting for a long time because it's very easy to change your anchor points when you first start out. Heck, when I first started hunting, we didn't have peeps, releases or fiber optic pins so I knew it wouldn't be to much of a problem.

I shoot one now and i really like it.It is awesome as said above for low light or night hunting but i like it as well for regular shooting. Its a bit to get used to just like switching from a wrist release to a thumb release. It takes alittle time to get used to.Keep your shots while practicing to about 10 -15 yds till you get more confident and then start to back up.IMHO its much better than using a peep. Its not meant to replace your peep it actually meant to do with out and force you to anchor consistantly. The company promotes the use of kisser buttons to help with this but i dont use them

So you use your string and pins. Line the string up on the pins or just anchor and put the pin where you want it to hit?

Well it actually depends on if it's dark out. During light hours when I can see my string, I line the pins about 1/8 of a inch to the left of my string. At night I can't see my string so I just put my pin on my target and let her rip.

I use one and really like it. I wear glasses and it really helped me focus better.
