Hard case is a better option.

I have the SKB Hunter and it fits like a glove!

Look at the Lakewood Bowfile...Model C237...it can hold the Z7, with quiver on with arrows in quiver, plus you can put more arrows in the supplied foam inserts in the case (over a dozen will fit), it holds the bow snug, is airline approved, you can order the accessories cases too, which I recommend....cost the same as a SKB case but holds a lot more stuff...www.eaglearchery.com

I absolutely love my case from pole mountain. I had a SKB case prior and loved it too but that was before they switched to the cheaper plastic from china and I would have had to pay even more for one of the roto molded cases. SKB. I bought it for my Z7 and sold my bow. My DXT fits perfect as well. Best 100 dollars I've spent.

Pole mountain outdoors case is what I use. Holds it in place great with quiver and arrows attatched and bullet proof.

I bought a Vanguard for my new Hoyt.....I know there are some that have the same case for their Z7's

I bought a 2011 z7. The SKB fit the 2010s well but was too tight on the 2011s. I ended up going with a Plano all weather. It fits very well. The only down side is it is pretty heavy. I think it is rated for airline travel.

Ya I ended up going with that Plano all weather. Bow fits great got it this week end at cabelas.

I have the Z7 also and it fits like a glove in the SKB Hunter. I have the Mathews T5 quiver and I am able to leave it on with 5 arrows while stored in the case. I have no doubts that you will like it if this is the way you decide to go.
