Best Hunting/Snake Boot

Hey guys. So in light of needing some new hunting boots I've been looking around and found the Rocky Lynx Snake boots at Gander Mountain. Tried them on and they felt pretty good. Then went home and checked reviews to see that they haven't done that great.

What seems to be the best snake boot / hunting boot you guys have seen?

Chippawa's hands down. Well worth the money. They work. I was struck 3 years ago and it stopped the bite. 4-1/2 foot rattler in Rocksprings. I then struck him with the Kimber 45acp. Never go anywhere without them.

Danner Pronghorn GTX. Virtually no break in time needed, and I wear them nearly all day every day when I wear them with zero discomfort. Easy on, easy off. If I ever wear them out, I'm getting another pair.

I've heard good things about these as well. I'll have to check them out.

My Rocky Boots are the best, 80% of the time they work everytime.

chips, but thats the only ones i have ever tried. i hear good things about the danner boots.

chips then danners. I'd go with chips and never looks back, I have a pair of danner pronghorns that are 11 years old and still are fantastic and comfortable.

I know a lot of guys love Rocky's but I'll never buy another rocky product again. Two different tries with Turkey boots both ended up with the worst feeling and quickest to fall apart boots.

I catch rattlers for extra money and wear Justine wouldn't wear anything else been bitten a few times they work great
