    Arrow Length Question

I bought a 2011 Hoyt Rampage XT a few months ago and the bow shop cut some arrows for the bow. I have a 27.5" draw.

If I order arrows or purchase from a retailer, what length arrow would I need?
Do you measure from the end of the nock or begining of the nock?

I currently have Beaman ICS 400 arrows.

    Thanks

measure from the bottom of the throat of the nock, to the back side of the insert.

In other words, measure from where the string sits to the back of the field tip and you should be good to go.

Any recomendations on where to order and where they will cut the arrows to spec? I have an academy close to me as well.

Be sure and tell the store HOW you measured.. many cut to raw shaft without the nock..

What about the online stores like Cabellas?

I don't think Cabelas cuts the shafts to order..

What's wrong with your local archery shop..

you can do better than cabelas and academy, especially if you are looking for custom MTO arrows. I/O Outdoors is a good palce to start.

              check the clearance section first.

It's a little far. I prefer to order on line if I can get it cut to size. Thanks
