problems with Moultrie Feeders game cams, modems, or solar panels?

While still under the warranty period, Moultrie refused to fix or replace what I believe are product failures. Has anyone else had problems with Moultrie products, warranty work, or being charged to repair items under warranty?

    The problems I experienced were...

    1) Game Cams - LED screens won't display although new batteries and camera taking pictures.
    2) Modems - a) even with multiple bars of AT&T reception modems won't make connection. b) modems require software update.
    3) Solar Panels - power regulation problem that can cause problems with devices connected to (like Game Cams & Modems).

Trying to determine right now how widespread problems with Moultrie products are, lack of resolution under warranty, and also attempts to charge for repairs under warranty.

I had a d-50 TC quit on me this season, but it was like 4-5 yrs old and from what I hear, the heat was killer on a lot of TC's this year.
I've never had to deal with their customer service.
All my timers have been more than stellar! My only issue was with that camera and the crappy pics it took.

And I just bought a M80 to replace it

I use a D-55 IR and have had the shutter or whatever you call it show up in some pics but no problems other than that. Also use their spinners with no problems so far.

mine were the I-45's too. 2 worked great for 3 months, the other one made it about 6 months. I still wonder if my modem problems were result of software upgrade and/or solar panel regulating problem, customer service wouldn't fix either and they are still broken.

I-45.... lasted one season and crapped the bed the solar panels too.

There is a small pile of Moultrie camera stuff in the garage, it won't be getting any bigger.

I don't know how they stay in buisness. Had 5 cameras all broke some never worked right out of the package. Customer service--- none..... Cameras are in local land fill now, where they belong, with the rest of the garbage.
I won't even buy anything that's setting on the shelf next any moultrie product.

One of the guys on our lease bought the remote feeder trigger. Never did work. I checked it out. Wasn't able to get it to work. Also, the current draw was so much the solar panel on a feeder would never keep the battery charged. I called Moultrie. Talked to their light weight customer service rep. When she was satisfied I had already done everything she could suggest she transferred me to their "Senior Tech". On hold for over 10 minutes with no answer. Called back the next morning early and was on hold for 15 minutes with no answer. Filled out their "Online Customer Service Request Form". That was ten days ago and have not heard squat. Does not sound like they have anything I need badly enough to get my $.

Anybody use Wildgame cameras? Thinking of trying on but don't want to throw money away.

I bought a Moultrie D55 about 2 months ago. So far batteries are holding up okay but it is sitting on a trail and not taking many pictures. The pictures it do take, about 40 percent are of the trees completely missing the animal. The Wildgame Innovation IR4 in my opinion has a faster shutter speed. It doesn't miss the animal. Primos 35 is better than both of them though.

I have 3 Moultrie feeders. One is about 17 years old and still going strong with it's photo eye sensor. The other 2 were purchased 2 years ago have digital timers. They seem to be working great and battery life is good. These batteries have been in 6 months and showing 60% battery life left.

So far never used there customer service or warranty.

I have one Wildgame IR4. It's 2 years old now. Takes decent pictures. Battery life is about 2 to 3 months depending on how many pictures it takes. For a few dollars more the Primos 35 is a better camera.
