I recently switched from Mathews to PSE this past spring after I tried the Evo. I am absolutely thrilled with this bow. Fast and smooth!! Mathews makes a great bow but I am very glad I made the switch.

Humm I thought about hanging up the Hoyt and going to PSE. I wasn't aware they had any more problems than others

They don't. I haven't heard of anybody that doesn't like their X-Force Pro series bow. Omen, Dream Season Evo, Axe or Vendetta. Great bows.

Even my wife's Chaos, is an the X-force design, and she loves it. No issues up to this point, anyway.

I think the OP was asking if anyone knew why some pro shops would prefer not to work on a PSE, not if the bow itself was reliable.

I dont have a answer, but maybe it could be a trainning issue?

My guess would be mathews dealers that get comfortable with solo-cam bows, and don't like to get into timing....

Other than that had multiple shops that got bullet holes out of my omen, but keeping strings from stretching was the hard part.

Not sure why don't like working on them. Neighbor got a Stinger, which put me on the path of deciding to upgrade. His is quite and fast.

I found it top heavy, but for the price, had it felt comfortable holding it, I'd have gone and got one. Not a bad price for the rigged out bow.

I Love My PSE!! I've had several over the years and loved each model I shot. I currently shoot the X-Force Axe 7. All I have to say is 305ftps at 30" 472 gr total weight@ 97.23ftlbs of KE. Most shops dont like to work on them due to the fact that their bow press wont work on the X- Force limbs. I will likely get the Omen next year.
