Filming from a tree stand...need some help

I've been trying to figure out a way to mount my video cam in or around my tree stand. Anybody have any ideas? I know its a little late!

A home depot, home-made option would be good since i don't wanna pay $40 or $50 when i can probably make it myself.

    Thanks for all the ideas!

I have used a ratchet strap to attach my tripod to the tree above my head going out at an angle and it worked pretty good. I was planning to attach a piece of PVC big enough to slide the tripod down into to make it easier to setup each time but never did.

I was thinking about getting this one. Anyone ever use it? For $25 it should be worth a try.

I recently bought one of these, but have not had a chance to play with it. I am taking it with me this wknd to try out. It comes with 3 different tree screws so you can have multiple setups ready to go. All you have to do is bring the arm.

I am getting a cheap mount like this also with the following ball mount. Thanks to a TBHer

The ball mount is $12. Similar to the clamp MAC has, it can mount left/right/or on the bottom

Spend the $99 on the real tree camera arm.

All the DIY clamps work great...............as long as all you want to film is right where the camera is pointing. Myself, I like to pan, and film different areas other than straight ahead.

I have a small arm i bought at either gander or Academy. think it was about $25. Screws into the tree. Real similar to a bow holder but smaller. extends out maybe 6"?? Anyhow it works great so far. The $99 gorilla camera arms are real good as well.
