Hello,
I wanted to ask a question concerning changing cams on a bow. My question is: If I go from a 30" cam to a 29" cam, DO I ALSO NEED TO CHANGE MY STRING?
I currently have a 30" DL on my Switchback XT bow. My cam of course says 30. After shooting my bow I have been having some problems in keeping my string all the way back because when I barely release tension on my arm the string wants to jump forward. I think after putting a string loop it has caused my DL length to change and making it TOO LONG. THUS I was thinking of changing my cam to a 29" cam and having my string loop so that I can have a better DL and or better anchor point.
