    crossbow for my daughter

I have been a bowhunter for years. My daughter was at her best friends house for a birthday party and her friend got a crossbow for her birthday. Well you know where this is going, yes they went out and shot the crossbow and now my daughter is hooked. Which I am super happy with, now maybe when she goes hunting with me is will not be texting on the phone or asking me is it time to go yet. I am glad she really enjoys shooting the crossbow.
My question is what type of crossbow is good for a teenage girl? I will spend the money on a good one but not the best one i want to make sure it is fun for her to harvest her first animal. Again my question is what type size crossbow is good for a teenage girl?

most are great, can get a rope cocking device to help in cocking the string, few have built in winch systems as well. My manager is older guy and he has one made by ten point and one finger cranks it up.

look into the wicked ridge line by tenpoint. the quality and service can't be beat. any bass pro should have them there for you to demo.

Just remember to tell her to keep her fingers out of the way of the travel path of the string. It can take em off.

this is true. i really like the feature that many of the tenpoint/wicked ridge; as well as a few others, utilizing a holding point you must grab not unlike the fore-end on a rifles stock that ensures a safe holding point every time.

you can also have the acu-draw 50 installed on any tenpoint/wicked ridge model which will reduce cocking poundage by 50% as well as ensuring a consistent nock point.
