My QAD draop away is hitting my riser. It seems to be loud when i shoot and the fletching is touching the arms of the rest. I think I need to raise is so that it falls completely out of the way. What doos this do to the nock point? Will it need to be raised as well?

First off, we don't know which QAD rest you have.
If you raise your rest, your nock point needs to be app. 90 degrees with rest.
Adjustment may be necessary.
If your arrows are hitting prongs, adjustment is necessary.
I've found little difference in noise whether the rest arms contact riser or not, but if arms contact riser before rest locks down, you may be getting contact from bounce.
Lotta things to consider.

I am having the same issue. I have the QAD pro on a bowtech assasian and mine hits the shelf as well. I tried putting a piece of rubber on the shelf but quickly found out that is would make contact with my veins. I promptly removed it. I cant see where rotating the barrel would help but hurt more so. My prongs are in the correct position when cocked and at 90 degrees when at draw. If i rotate it it would put them at over 90 degrees. NOt much I can do that I see???

Excuse my ignorance but what would the berger hole be? I talked to my bow shop and he told me that there wasnt much he could do about it with the way the rest fits the assasian. Could you educate me a little bit?

So do you guys think there is nothing I can do to prevent the prongs from contacting the shelf? By thin rubber strip do you mean to put it on the shelf to absorb some shock thuss reducing noise?

Yes I think if is setup properly it will not contact shelf. Send Jerry (Redneck Booda Outdoors) a PM he has setup these on Assasins I'm sure and can help you further. If you were close I would come do it for you. I don't have anything between my rest and shelf. The rest is the last sound the deer will here before he gets wacked. I use to get Hung up on having a quieter bow. Been killing deer for years without all the extras.
