My wife started with a Hoyt Trykon Sport - decent little bow. She now shoots a Bowtech Equalizer - very impressed at the performance she gets out of a 26" draw with this bow.

My wife started with a Hoyt Rintec XL. Just picked up a used PSE Bowmadness XS and she loves it.
